Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, while addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. They formulate, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and develop care plans in accordance with scope of practice and unit standards.
- Deliver direct patient care, monitor effectiveness of interventions, and modify plans as needed.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
- Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit-based decision-making.
- Promote patient safety, satisfaction, and compassionate interactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate patient care.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
