Role Overview: A skilled Registered Nurse responsible for delivering independent, comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The nurse addresses patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administers medications and treatments per protocols, and monitors their effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and complex nursing care, managing contingencies and delegating tasks appropriately.
- Assess patient conditions, document histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding health needs and resources.
- Ensure compliance with standards and competencies, including annual validations and certifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities.
Additional Requirements:
- Participation in orientation, residency programs, and competency assessments.
- Completion of required certifications within specified timeframes.
- Work schedule involves 12-hour shifts in a full-time capacity.
