Role Overview: The position is for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support multiple healthcare facilities within a health system as part of the WEST Float Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing compassionate, skilled patient care under RN supervision across diverse units.
- Performing assessments, procedures, and interventions based on physician orders.
- Collaborating with care teams to ensure seamless patient care and adjusting plans as needed.
- Educating patients and families on self-care and safety practices.
- Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and participating in communication and team huddles.
- Engaging in ongoing training, in-services, and contributing to project success.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- At least 3+ years of recent medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, organizational abilities, clear communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
