Role Overview: The LPN Float supports multiple healthcare facilities by providing high-quality patient care, education, and documentation under RN supervision. This role offers variety, flexibility, and opportunities to expand clinical skills across diverse units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate patient care, perform assessments, procedures, and interventions.
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless service and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on self-care and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively within teams.
- Participate in ongoing training, in-services, and projects to support professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; current LPN license in the state.
- Minimum of 3+ years of recent medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and focus on patient needs.
