Critical Care Float Pool Nurse
Provide expert nursing care across ICU, step-down, and other high-acuity units. You will rapidly assess and manage complex patients, administer medications, and coordinate ongoing treatment plans. Manage advanced life-support needs including ventilation and infusion/drip therapy, and respond promptly to clinical emergencies with evidence-based decision-making.
Key Duties
- Assess, triage, and manage critically ill patients
- Administer medications and monitor patient response
- Manage ventilators and titratable drips/infusions
- Stabilize patients and respond effectively to emergencies
- Adapt quickly to new teams, workflows, and unit requirements
- Deliver safe, high-quality care aligned with best practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered nurse with critical care experience
- Strong clinical judgment and rapid assessment skills
- Proficiency with ventilator and infusion/drip management
- Ability to work across diverse high-acuity settings
- Effective communication and patient-centered care
