Role Overview: The Clinical Team Coordinator supervises nursing care and activities on their assigned unit, ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care. They provide direct patient care, supervise staff, assist with orientation, conduct performance evaluations, and manage staffing, supplies, and patient triage. They facilitate communication among staff, patients, and visitors, promote evidence-based practices, and support professional growth aligned with Magnet philosophies. The role involves mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing unit issues, and resolving patient concerns to enhance patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise nursing care and staff activities
- Provide direct patient care and support staff orientation
- Conduct performance appraisals and monitor unit operations
