Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing direct patient care, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing practices.
Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise nursing activities, support staff and new employee orientation, conduct performance evaluations, manage scheduling and supplies, address performance issues, communicate patient and unit information, develop and interpret policies, mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and resolve patient concerns. Promote evidence-based practices, support Magnet philosophies, and foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience, enrollment in a BSN program, and relevant educational background (Bachelor’s preferred). Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills necessary.
Key Duties: Coordinate nursing care, support unit improvements, ensure regulatory adherence, and maximize patient satisfaction through effective resource use and team collaboration. Responsible for incident follow-up, documentation, and fostering a positive work environment.
