Role Overview: Supervises nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Acts as a leader by providing direct patient care, overseeing staff, and supporting unit improvements to enhance patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care and supervises personnel, including orientation and performance evaluations.
- Manages staffing, schedules, supplies, and patient triage.
- Addresses performance issues, enforces policies, and ensures regulatory compliance.
- Communicates effectively with staff, patients, and visitors regarding care activities and policies.
- Supports professional growth, evidence-based practices, and fosters a positive work environment aligned with Magnet philosophies.
- Serves as a resource, mentors staff, and promotes participation in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Enrollment in a BSN program with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage resources effectively and foster a collaborative environment.
