This position involves performing a wide range of professional nursing duties for inmate patients in clinical settings.
Under supervision, the nurse provides patient care, monitors health status, administers treatments, and maintains accurate records.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited nursing program, and an active RN license in Texas.
Preferred candidates will have at least two years of nursing experience and may hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nursing.
Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS preferred.
Additional requirements include obtaining BLS within 90 days of start.
