Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, serving as a frontline representative and intermediary between patients, families, and healthcare providers. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and adherence to professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver safe, effective care following policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient flow and prioritize actions to optimize patient outcomes and experience.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and communicating pertinent information to the care team.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational changes to enhance quality outcomes.
- Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and industry engagement; support professional growth and leadership development.
- Mentor and foster a positive work environment, adhering to confidentiality, safety, and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current RN license and required certifications, including BLS.
- Minimum of two years of leadership and Med Surg experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
