Role Overview: The Cardiac Prep Recovery Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participate in activities supporting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors. Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.Qualifications & Skills: Active RN license required. Educational background includes Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred. Up to 2 years of experience is preferred, with cardiac experience highly desirable. Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills are essential.
