Role Overview:
Provides professional nursing care to patients by applying the nursing process within an interdisciplinary team. Focuses on clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, patient safety, education, and performance improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
- Developing and modifying individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Implementing interventions to achieve patient outcomes and documenting progress.
- Ensuring safe patient handling, troubleshooting equipment, and obtaining lab specimens.
- Coordinating interdisciplinary care, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively with team members.
- Providing patient education tailored to age, cultural, and developmental needs.
- Participating in quality improvement activities, data collection, and process enhancements.
- Promoting a safe and patient-centered environment, advocating for patients, and supporting team development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, safety, and ongoing professional development.
