Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Bone Bank Coordination and patient care.
Responsibilities: Manage donor programs, recruit tissue donors, coordinate tissue ordering and disposition, collaborate with staff and providers, and participate in quality reviews. Support nursing care including patient education, care transitions, and leadership activities such as mentoring and quality improvement. Potentially drive personal vehicles for work-related tasks.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience. Must hold an active RN license, BLS certification, and plan to obtain Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) within one year. Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability skills required. Additional licensure or certifications may be needed based on work area.
Additional Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records, leadership capabilities, and effective communication. Experience working in team environments and handling unpredictable situations is preferred.
