Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Trauma Unit

Role Overview: Provides direct inpatient nursing care, assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating intervention effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, address patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, coordinate care including education and discharge planning, administer treatments and medications, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a recognized nursing program (Bachelor’s preferred), with the ability to perform comprehensive assessments, prioritize patient needs, and communicate effectively within a team. Demonstrates compassionate care, problem-solving skills, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Additional Details: Works in a clinical setting, typically during 7p-7:30a shifts, with requirements for every other weekend and holiday work. Engages in unit-based decision-making, quality improvement, and safety initiatives. Promotes patient satisfaction and optimal health outcomes.
