Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and diagnostic procedures, in accordance with state standards. The nurse will develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, address patients’ physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and oversee ancillary activities.
- Perform assessments and coordinate care plans with patient and family education, discharge planning, and needs assessment.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members, delegate tasks based on skill and patient needs, and promote teamwork.
- Ensure safety, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in unit-based decision-making and support organizational safety and safety programs.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program; interest in cardiac nursing preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality care are essential.
