Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Surgical Trauma Unit

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an inpatient setting, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics, following established standards and policies. Responsible for assessments, care planning, and evaluating patient responses, while addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement individualized care plans with interdisciplinary team members.
  • Educate patients and families, facilitate discharge planning, and monitor care effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve patient needs and adjust assignments based on acuity and skill levels.
  • Promote teamwork, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support organizational safety measures and participate in safety and quality programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a nursing specialized training program (required).
  • Ability to work in a clinical environment, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexible to work evening, overnight shifts, including holidays and weekends.
  • Engagement in continuous learning and adherence to safety standards.
