Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Orthopaedics

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, satisfaction, and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, address physical and psychosocial needs, develop and coordinate care plans, administer treatments and medications, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in evidence-based practice decisions, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with the ability to meet unit standards. Compassionate care focus, strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to policies are essential.

Key Duties: Provide direct patient care, educate patients and families, participate in unit decision-making, and support organizational safety and quality goals.

Additional Details: Full-time night shift with flexible scheduling options, including self-scheduling and a designated “free weekend.” Work environment includes orthopedic, trauma, and medical/surgical patients in a 30-bed unit with advanced facilities.
