Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position focused on providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a neuroscience and medical/surgical unit. Responsibilities include patient assessments, planning and coordinating care, administering treatments and medications, and evaluating intervention effectiveness. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, ensures patient safety and satisfaction, and participates in quality and safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduation from a nursing specialty program and the ability to meet unit standards for patient care. Strong assessment, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Flexibility to manage diverse patient populations, including neurology, neurosurgery, and general medical-surgical patients, is necessary.
Key Duties: Conduct assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, develop and implement care plans, administer treatments, and adjust care based on patient responses. Initiate collaboration with healthcare team members, troubleshoot equipment, and contribute to evidence-based practice and safety protocols.
