Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse position focused on providing high-quality patient care in a specialized neurology and medical-surgical unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, execute, and evaluate nursing activities tailored to patient needs, promoting safety and patient satisfaction.
- Deliver compassionate, holistic care addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests per policy, and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and ancillary staff to meet patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
- Engage in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit-based decision-making to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing program; ability to manage diverse patient populations including neurology, neurosurgery, and medical-surgical cases. Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Willingness to participate in ongoing education and safety programs is expected.
