Role Overview: The Inpatient RN provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Formulate, coordinate, and deliver individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies following policies and procedures.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care based on patient responses.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians and team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.
- Engage in quality and safety initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and prioritize patient safety and satisfaction.
