Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care Medical Surgical Unit

Role Overview: The Inpatient RN provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
  • Formulate, coordinate, and deliver individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies following policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care based on patient responses.
  • Collaborate proactively with physicians and team members to resolve patient needs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.
  • Engage in quality and safety initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and prioritize patient safety and satisfaction.

Additional Details: The role involves shift work, including evenings, nights, and weekends, with responsibilities for ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care aligned with organizational standards and policies.
