Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, 24-bed advanced acute care unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs, promoting safety and patient satisfaction.
- Provide compassionate, holistic care addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and coordinate care plans, including patient education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures per policies.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care accordingly.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians and team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions.
- Engage in quality, safety initiatives, and unit goals, contributing to organizational improvements.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform assessments and deliver comprehensive patient care.
