Role Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care in a fast-paced, 24-bed advanced acute care unit, collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Conducts assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, administers treatments and medications, monitors patient responses, and revises care strategies accordingly. Coordinates patient education, discharge planning, and addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. Collaborates proactively with physicians and staff to resolve issues and improve care quality. Participates in safety and quality improvement activities and unit-based decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED required; specialty training or relevant experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills essential. Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a dynamic environment.
