Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position focused on providing compassionate, high-quality care in a community hospital setting. The nurse assesses, plans, and executes nursing activities to meet patient needs, promotes safety, and enhances patient and family satisfaction. They coordinate interdisciplinary care, perform direct patient treatments, evaluate intervention outcomes, and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments based on scope of practice and standards
- Addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs
- Developing and implementing care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning
- Providing treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to resolve patient needs
- Troubleshooting equipment and participating in evidence-based practice decisions
- Contributing to unit goals and safety programs
