Registered Nurse – Advanced Acute Care

Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care in a specialized medical-surgical unit, assessing patient needs, coordinating care plans, administering treatments and medications, and evaluating patient responses. The nurse promotes safety, patient satisfaction, and compassionate interactions, collaborating proactively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans aligned with unit standards.

Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.

Provide direct care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.

Evaluate and revise care plans based on patient responses.

Collaborate with physicians and staff to meet patient needs and resolve issues.

Participate in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Troubleshoot equipment and engage in unit decision-making processes.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a nursing specialty program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must demonstrate compassionate care, strong assessment skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Commitment to safety, quality improvement, and patient-centered care is essential.
