Position: Registered Nurse providing patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities include: utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care; maintaining current competency; collaborating with peers; applying ethical standards; integrating evidence-based practices; recognizing and adapting to varying situations; promoting safety; supervising staff; ensuring thorough documentation; and performing additional duties as needed.
Qualifications: at least one year of nursing experience, graduation from an accredited nursing school, effective communication skills, current Illinois Nursing licensure, and CPR certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required. Previous psychiatric experience is highly preferred.
