Role Overview: An Inpatient RN provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, educate patients and families, and participate in unit-based decision-making to improve quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
- Evaluate and revise care plans based on patient responses.
- Coordinate with physicians and staff to address patient needs and facilitate discharge planning.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety programs, and evidence-based practices.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduation from a nursing specialty training program (required).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under a Temporary Practice Permit until NCLEX is obtained.
