Registered Nurse – Acute Care Surgical Unit – Full-Time Days

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice in a clinical setting guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values, ensuring compliance with licensing and ethical standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, engaging patients and families through effective communication and education.
  • Coordinate and document safe, quality care while promoting teamwork across disciplines.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development, mentoring, and maintaining competencies.
  • Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree; Bachelors preferred.
  • Active RN license; BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years direct patient care experience.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in technology and a collaborative, respectful approach to team work.
