Role: Supervises and coordinates nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Assists in developing unit-level improvements, mentors staff, and promotes evidence-based practices. Communicates effectively with team members, patients, and visitors, and manages staffing, supplies, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, oversees personnel, conducts performance evaluations, addresses performance issues, and promotes a healthy work environment aligned with Magnet principles. Supports policy formulation, ensures regulatory adherence, and manages resources efficiently. Addresses patient and family concerns and follows up on incidents.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required), strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills, and proficiency in staff management. Ability to foster a collaborative, professional environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
