Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, deliver treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, and evaluate patient responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and ensure effective discharge planning. Participate in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to evidence-based practice and unit decision-making. Maintain high standards of compassionate care and promote patient safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing training program. Demonstrate ability to coordinate patient care, problem-solve equipment issues, and work effectively within a team. Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and adherence to policies and procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of medical conditions, including orthopedic surgeries.
Additional Information: Work hours are typically 7a-7:30p with weekend and holiday requirements. The unit features private and semi-private rooms, specializing in surgical orthopedics and total joint procedures, supported by onsite therapy and 24/7 hospitalist services.
