Registered Nurse – Acute Care Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating patient care in a clinical setting.
Key Duties: Conduct assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, develop and coordinate care plans, administer treatments and medications, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in evidence-based practice decisions, and promote patient safety and quality.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing training program, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. Ability to work collaboratively, problem-solve, and adapt to diverse medical conditions. Must meet unit-specific requirements and be accountable for quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct care, educate patients and families, support discharge planning, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and work toward team goals in a high-reliability environment. The role involves interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal care and patient satisfaction.
Work Environment & Additional Info: Typically performed in a clinical hospital setting with private or semi-private rooms, specializing in surgical orthopedics and total joint surgeries. Requires flexibility for shifts, including every other weekend and holiday coverage. The facility emphasizes high-quality nursing practice, safety, and community engagement.
