Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
- Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient needs and involving patients and families in care planning.
- Ensure safe, high-quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and collaboration.
- Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to promote safe, efficient care.
- Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring colleagues, and serving as a preceptor.
- Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to policies, and participate in data collection to enhance patient outcomes.
- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum and develop protocols to improve practice outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
- Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- BLS certification required upon hire.
