Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care – Ortho Surgical, full-time night shift.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care by performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, communicate with patients and families, and coordinate care to achieve optimal outcomes. Promote a respectful, inclusive environment, support performance improvement initiatives, and serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development. Uphold clinical standards, policies, and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safety goals. Participate in research and quality improvement activities, contribute to protocol development, and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (preferred).
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Ability to operate technology effectively and respond decisively in emergencies.
