Role Overview: The registered nurse provides quality patient care by collaborating with the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They act as the primary liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a supportive environment and promoting positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Care Coordination: Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, deliver safe and effective care, and document assessments and interventions.
- Patient Advocacy & Satisfaction: Address patient concerns, educate patients and families, and communicate pertinent information to ensure patient-centered care.
- Performance Improvement: Contribute to enhancing work processes and participate in initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Professional Growth & Leadership: Maintain licenses, pursue ongoing education, mentor colleagues, and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s nursing degree preferred.
- Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
