Role Overview: The Inpatient RN provides direct patient care, supervises staff, and supports unit operations to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing staff, assist with orientation, performance appraisals, and addressing performance issues.
- Coordinate patient care activities, manage staffing, supplies, and patient/bed triage.
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and visitors regarding care and policies.
- Contribute to developing nursing policies and promote evidence-based practices.
- Mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles.
- Manage resource utilization and address patient and family concerns.
- Document incidents, follow-up, and ensure efficient unit operations.
Qualifications & Skills: Enrollment in a BSN program with at least 2 years of experience; graduate from specialty training; strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills; ability to promote teamwork and patient safety.
