Registered Nurse – Acute Care Medical and Oncology Unit

Role Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care, including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and patient education, in accordance with state nursing standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate and implement nursing interventions, evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
  • Delegate and supervise tasks based on team members’ skills and patient acuity.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety programs, and evidence-based practice activities.
  • Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and holistic care addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Promote teamwork, troubleshoot equipment issues, and adapt to changing patient situations.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing training program; strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; commitment to safety and quality care.


Key Duties: Deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with healthcare team, participate in decision-making, and support organizational safety and quality initiatives.
