Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
Key Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team, and monitors care quality. Delegates tasks appropriately, ensures patient safety, and incorporates cost-effective practices. Evaluates patient responses, revises plans as needed, and documents progress. Teaches patients and families, advocates for their needs, and ensures effective communication across the care team. Completes audits and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an associate degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/LPN experience. Must hold a current RN license recognized in the state. Demonstrates professional accountability, proficiency with technology, and adherence to safety protocols.
