Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures, while addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and coordinates individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
- Evaluates patient responses and revises care plans accordingly.
- Collaborates with physicians and staff to resolve patient needs proactively.
- Participates in decision-making, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
- Provides compassionate, patient-centered interactions to optimize satisfaction and safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a specialty nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must acquire ACLS certification; experience with cardiac drips and stroke assessments is a plus.
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adhere to policies and procedures.
Additional Details: The role involves working in a clinical environment, with responsibilities including patient education, discharge planning, and participation in safety and quality initiatives. The position requires working evening, night, and holiday shifts, including every other weekend.
