Registered Nurse – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Role Overview: The Clinical Team Coordinator RN supervises nursing care on their assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care through direct patient care, staff supervision, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and supervise team members, including new employee onboarding and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor staffing, manage supplies, and address performance issues and disciplinary actions.
  • Communicate patient care activities, unit issues, and policy updates to staff and management.
  • Contribute to nursing policies, promote evidence-based practices, and serve as a resource and mentor for staff.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, efficient resource utilization, and resolution of patient and family concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident follow-up, and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; graduate training in specialty nursing preferred.
  • Experience in cardiac care and leadership is preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills, with a focus on patient safety and team collaboration.
