Registered Nurse – Acute Cardiac Telemetry Unit

Role Overview: An Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing needs, developing and implementing care plans, and delivering treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and participate in decision-making to enhance patient safety and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
  • Coordinate and deliver individualized care, including education and discharge planning.
  • Manage treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies per policies.
  • Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to meet patient needs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and promote evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit-based decision-making.
  • Ensure compassionate, patient-centered care to maximize satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Demonstrates compassionate care, teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to policies. Ability to work 7a-7:30p, including every other weekend and holiday.
