Job Summary:
Assists patients during cardiac recovery following cardiac events. Supports physical exercises, educates patients on heart disease, and provides home discharge instructions. Monitors vital signs during rehab exercises, bronchoscopy, and cardiac stress procedures.
Education:
Associated Degree of Nursing required.
Experience:
Preferred experience in cardiac rehab programs, patient teaching, and with patients who have had cardiac events.
Certification & Licensure:
Required: Registered Nurse, CPR, ACLS, Basic EKG.
Preferred: Registered Nurse Bachelor’s degree.
Certifications must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
