Under general supervision, performs a variety of professional nursing duties for patients in specified clinical areas.
Responsibilities include administering medications per policies, documenting accurately, following standards of care, infection control, safety protocols, and demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited nursing program, and RN licensure in Texas.
Preferred qualifications are an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing with over two years of experience.
Certification requirements include ICU/Tower ICU RN, BLS (within 90 days), ACLS (within 1 year), TNCC, PALS or ENPC (within 1 year), and NIHSS (within 1 year).
Additional certifications may be required based on specific unit needs.
