Under general supervision, performs professional nursing duties for patients in clinical areas.
Responsibilities include administering and documenting medications, responding to emergencies with sound judgment, maintaining safety standards, and providing a supportive environment based on nursing assessments and interventions.
Attends meetings, coordinates patient care, and ensures timely completion of tasks to promote patient satisfaction.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited nursing program, and an active RN license in Texas.
Preferred candidates have at least two years of nursing experience, additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS), and specialty area certifications.
Certification in BLS is required within 90 days of employment.
