Join a dynamic healthcare system as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN), providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding children’s hospitals).
Key responsibilities include:
- Float across 12 hospitals within the system, practicing exclusively in the Emergency Department (ED).
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention based on nursing expertise.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through evidence-based practice.
- Utilize leadership skills to advocate, coordinate, and foster a positive work environment, mentoring colleagues and students.
- Communicate effectively to support culturally sensitive, ethical, and holistic care.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2+ years ED RN experience; trauma and float experience preferred.
- Current RN license in Missouri; ability to obtain Illinois license.
- Willingness to travel between facilities in MO & IL.
- Strong adaptability, confidence in nursing practice, and commitment to professional growth.
- Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; BSN/MSN preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, TNCC preferred.
