Join a Central Staffing Office as a Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) and provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across multiple hospitals within the system.
Support 11 hospitals in Missouri and Illinois (excluding Children’s Hospital) by floating across various emergency departments, practicing exclusively in ED settings.
Work three 12-hour night shifts with flexible start times, including rotating weekends and holidays, in a team-oriented environment focused on collaboration and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of care based on evidence-based practices.
- Advocate for patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while fostering effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Utilize leadership skills to mentor colleagues and promote a positive work environment.
- Develop individualized care plans considering diverse patient needs and responses.
- Participate in professional development activities and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience; trauma and float experience preferred.
- Current Missouri RN license with ability to obtain Illinois RN license.
- Willingness to travel between facilities in MO & IL.
- Strong adaptability, confidence in nursing practice, and excellent communication skills.
- Education: ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
