Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Regional Float ED Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across multiple hospitals in Missouri and Illinois. The role involves floating between 12 hospitals, practicing exclusively in the Emergency Department, and supporting diverse clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and care planning based on evidence-based nursing standards
Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through professional practice
Mentoring colleagues and fostering a positive work environment
Utilizing leadership skills to coordinate and advocate for optimal patient outcomes
Engaging in ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
Participating in structured onboarding and system support initiatives
Maintaining flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with travel between facilities
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 2+ years of ED RN experience, with trauma and float experience preferred
Current Missouri RN license; ability to obtain Illinois RN license
Strong adaptability, communication, and leadership skills
Education: ADN, BSN, or MSN; TNCC certification preferred
Willingness to work night shifts and travel across sites
Initial training includes a full week of support to ensure success
