Role Overview:
The Advanced Modality – Cath Lab/Vascular Radiology Technologist (Imaging) performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including Cardiac Catheterizations, Pacemakers, Vascular and EP procedures, primarily in a Cath Lab setting. Responsibilities include patient and equipment preparation, conducting studies independently or during on-call, and assisting in prep and recovery as needed. The role requires ACLS and BLS certifications, with preferred experience in Cath Lab or interventional radiology. The position involves working a day shift over four days with rotating days off, and offers paid on-call compensation.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
- Preferred experience in advanced imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, Interventional, Cardiac Catheterization)
- Additional licenses/certifications such as IEMA, RTR, RCIS, RCES, or related are advantageous
Skills & Requirements:
- Knowledge of scrub procedures and patient preparation
- Ability to perform studies independently and in various settings
- Strong attention to safety protocols and quality control
