Radiology Technologist – PRN Day Shift

Role Overview: This position involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans and X-Rays, independently, to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
  • Assist physicians, nurses, and staff by providing technical support and patient care throughout the facility.
  • Perform imaging exams following established policies, procedures, and regulations, notifying physicians of results.
  • Conduct basic clinical procedures under supervision and maintain accurate documentation of all activities.
  • Collect laboratory samples, perform lab testing per policies, and ensure quality control, proficiency testing, and recordkeeping.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality assessments on imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Support emergency room functions as needed and travel to various facility locations.
  • Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School diploma or GED; AMA-approved Radiology Technology program graduation required.
  • State certification as a medical radiologic technologist, ARRT registration in radiography required.
  • CT certification preferred; CT certification must be obtained within 12 months if applicable.
  • Current BLS certification; experience in radiology, CT, and emergency room settings preferred.
  • Proficiency with imaging hardware/software, PACS, and strong communication skills in English.
