Radiology Technologist (PRN)

Role Overview:

Seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform general diagnostic imaging procedures independently, including radiographic exams, portable studies, and occasional in-house OR procedures. The role involves preparing patients, operating advanced Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream equipment, and working autonomously in emergency and on-call situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and equipment, providing high-quality patient care and instructions.
  • Conduct radiographic imaging exams independently, including portable and ER procedures.
  • Handle tasks such as portable exams, in-house imaging, and occasional OR work.
  • Work effectively with advanced imaging systems and in fast-paced environments.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

    • Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology.
    • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))) and ARRT registration.
    • Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR certification, and Illinois licensure (excluding MRI).
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrate professionalism, and provide excellent patient care.
