Radiology Technologist (PRN)

Role Overview:

This position is for a PRN Radiology Technologist responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging procedures independently, including radiographic exams, portable procedures, and occasional work in the operating room (OR) and emergency room (ER). The role involves preparing patients and equipment, providing high-quality patient care, and working with advanced imaging equipment, such as Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing imaging examinations accurately and efficiently
  • Instructing patients and ensuring professionalism and excellent customer service
  • Working independently in fast-paced environments, including ER and OR settings
  • Handling portable exams and other department-assigned tasks

Qualifications include an associate degree or higher, certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)), and an ARRT registration. Preferred experience includes at least 2 years of radiologic technology work and CPR certification. Licenses may vary by location, with additional certifications such as IEMA and Radiology Technologist registration preferred.
