Role Overview:
We are seeking a Radiology Technologist for a PRN position at our South County After Hours location. The role involves performing general radiographic procedures on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, providing clear instructions, and independently conducting imaging examinations, including portable and on-call procedures. The position is non-benefits eligible and operates during evening hours on weekdays and daytime on weekends and holidays.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent from trade school
- Licenses: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), Radiology Technologist – Registered
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR certification
- No supervisor experience required
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
- Perform exams independently, including portable and on-call procedures
